The company was formed in 2012 when Ms. Jennifer Russo decided to start a contracting business. The company is envisioned to be a complete turnkey property development company, with expertise in the areas of site work, demolition, environmental remediation, and mass excavation. Under this model, a client can turn over the responsibilities of coordinating and managing these various tasks to one company, thereby streamlining the entire process of the early phases of site development. In June 2015, RDE was awarded Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) status by Empire State Development (NYS). In September 2015, RDE was awarded WBE status by New York City Small Business Services. These certifications have allowed Ms. Russo to pursue additional opportunities that may have not been available to the company otherwise.RDE is fully capable of meeting or exceeding the most stringent requirements. We have worked with many municipalities, namely the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, New York State Department of Transportation, New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and the New York City School Construction Authority.
