Malware bytes is an updated antivirus application which can remove the most advanced virus and spams. Anti-malware software monitors all process and stops any virus from getting into the system. HTTP enables malware bytes to receive their signature updates. YAML files are downloaded over HTTP, all the YAML files includes MD5 checksum but since it’s served over HTTP it can be replaced. The most important step to sort the signature issue is to disable the real time protection. The following steps are performed in this process:
1. Open the policy and go to the protection tab
2. Disable the enable protection module operation
3. Click OK. a new policy update will appear
4. Once the real time protection is disabled highlight the end points on the screen and click the update database button on the top
5. After the update the machine will be rebooted
If the internal addressing cannot be resolved reinstalling the agent has to be done.
