Ebony\'s Beauty Hair and Skin Care

Who We Are? We are a Women-owned company based in Louisiana; Ebony\'s Beauty Hair and Skin Care creates handmade, natural health and beauty products. That\'s safe for sensitive skin and all hair types. Vegan Products.

In the summer of 2017, Ebony Robert opened her company, Ebony’s Beauty Hair and Skin Care in the Northgate Mall in Lafayette.

Ebony’s Beauty Hair and Skin Care sells a wide variety of natural products, haircare, handcrafted soaps, skin care, feminine care, and more.

Ebony spoke on the reason she began this business out of her home. She said, “Besides having a passion for hair, makeup, and fashion. I realized products that contained harmful ingredients were a no for my family and myself. We were experiencing skin rashes and discolorations due to all the harmful ingredients.”

For Ebony, her biggest inspiration is her mother. “My mom faced a lot of adversity in her life and had to raise ten children as a single mother, after my father passed away,” stated Ebony. “She worked extremely hard to provide for us, and I rarely saw her complain about her fate. What I really admire is her enthusiasm for life, and her ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions. Her faith in God taught me that nothing is impossible. I am extremely grateful for being her daughter, and I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done.”

Ebony takes what she learned from the past and what she knows as a mother and puts out the best products in her business. Her passion to sell a great product makes her job easy. She said, “When you love what you do, your work becomes meaningful. Therefore, I love seeing our customers achieve their hair and skincare goals.’

The great thing about the products Ebony makes is that they are sold not only in the Northgate Mall but also online at https://ebonysbeauty.shop/, Walmart.com, Amazon.com, Faire.com, or Drug Emporium. Their address in the Northgate Mall is 1800 NE Evangeline They Lafayette, La 70501.

Ebony ends with this inspiration for anyone thinking of taking the plunge and opening their own business. She stated, “I would tell them a short story on how I was afraid of change and that I trusted God to help me make the move.  And that fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt are all raw feelings people experience when they consider the idea of starting their own business. And that’s ok, go with your heart and give it your best. God will do the rest!”
