He has treated more than 10,000 patients for Head and Neck Cancer. He is well known for his skilled ability in Thyroid Cancer, Oral Cancer & Tongue Cancer.
He completed MBBS from NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre & Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Nagpur in 2007.
Dr. Amit Chakraborty is registered as a Medical Practitioner at Maharashtra Medical Council since 2008.
Later he continued with masters in General Surgery (MS) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik in 2013.
He went ahead to pursue super specialization and Surgical Oncology (MCh) from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2017.
He is also a renowned member with a Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), UK.
He is well known for his skilled ability in treating Gastrointestinal Cancers and Gynecological cancer, Hypothermic or heated intraperitoneal chemoperfusion (HIPEC) which is used for treating aggressive Abdominal cancers, Thoracic cancer and Chemo port insertion.
His conventional approach to manage cancer in this field of oncology is remarkable with over 10,000 patients being treated for Head and Neck Cancer and 3000 – 4000 patients with Breast Cancer and over 500-1000 treated with Ovarian cancer.
