I was raised in a small town in VA. I learned to cook at a very young age (at my mom’s house it was a requirement). I came from a line of great cooks in my family. As I got older I was chosen to do most cooking for events which I didn’t mind. I love trying new dishes and watching people smile as my food hits their palate. Some of my dishes were handed down to me from my mom, but a lot were created by me inspired by the Holy Spirit. I was able to open my organic sweets chefjaytreats in VA own restaurant in 2015, All About the Pies and More, but unfortunately I had to close it in 2017 due to breast cancer. After treatments I started cooking and baking back in my home again but in 2018 I had to stop again because the cancer had came back in my lungs but I am cancer free again. I’m now doing what I love to do. Feeding God’s peoples. Thank you.
