Pergola Land is family-owned and operated business specialising in the design and construction of outdoor living spaces. Pergola Land has been Sydney’s market leader in tailored outdoor living designs for over 20 years.
We design & construct decks, pergolas, patios, verandahs and pool surrounds using a range of materials to suit your location and budget. We also complete the project with a wide variety of handrails, stairs, blinds and screening options – all handcrafted and made to measure.
Pergola Land does not offer any repair or re-roofing services to existing pergola structures or decks. We also do not supply materials for DIY projects.
WE HANDLE COUNCIL APPLICATIONS
Dealing with councils and certifiers can be confusing and complex. We remove that hassle for our customers by handling the whole process in-house. Your time is valuable and we would rather you spend your time doing something you love, rather than dealing with paperwork!
ASSESSMENT
We assess your property and proposed works to determine whether your project needs approval. This is governed by NSW Planning.
If your project requires approval, our expert compliance officer will determine whether we need to submit a Development Application to the local council or if we can apply for a Complying Development Certificate with our trusted Private Certifier.
PLANNING
Plans will be drawn up by our qualified draftsman ready to be submitted with your application.
APPLICATION PREPARATION
Once plans are reviewed and signed off by you, we will prepare your application for approval and lodge with your local council or our certifier.
Approval for a Complying Development Certificate can take between 3-4 weeks. Approval for a Development Application can take up to 12 weeks.
CONSTRUCTION CERTIFICATE
Once your Development Application is approved by council, we then apply for the Construction Certificate with our Private Certifier.
Once all the legal requirements are ticked off and we receive the construction certificate, we are ready to get onsite!
