Changing password is a very good habit for users to secure their email accounts. With regular updates of email passwords, the account is more secure and another user will not be able to compromise the account. To change the password in Protonmail, the user will have to first sign in to their account. Next user will have to click on Settings, and open Account and password. Their user will have to click on Change password. The old password should be entered in the empty field, then the user will be able to create a new password for their Protonmail account.
