Islam is religion of peace and tolerance. It teaches love, respect, humanity and beauty of relationships.Along with other lovely teachings of Islam it teaches us that what rights of another Muslim are there that we need to fulfill.
RIGHTS OF A MUSLIM OVER ANOTHER MUSLIM
There are 6 basic rights every Muslim has on the other Muslim. These are taken from Sahi Muslim: 5651:
RIGHT NO.1
If you meet him you should greet him with “salaam”. say “As-salamu alaykum”.
RIGHT NO.2
If he invites you, you should accept his invitation without getting irritated.
RIGHT NO.3
If he asks you for advice, give him a best sincere advice by thinking about what you would have done if you were in his shoe.
RIGHT NO.4
If he sneezes and says” ALHAMDO LILLAH”, you should say “YARHAMUK ALLAH”.
RIGHT NO.5
If a Muslim gets ill, it’s his right that the other Muslim visits him and asks for his health and present condition.
RIGHT NO.6:
If a Muslim dies, it’s his right that other Muslims attend his funeral.
