Sozo Water Park is a water park located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is one of the few water-themed amusement parks in the city. It is a point of interest. There are three pools in this park.
Back in the 1980s, three students travelled to Singapore to experience life as it happened. They were fascinated by everything they came across from the modern city dwellings to technology-driven landscapes.
One thing that caught the attention of one curious boy was an enthralling water slide. It was the ever so young, Zoraiz Lashari, the best swimmer of Pakistan.
He dreamt about having that water slide in Pakistan and slowly started working on its feasibility. Before anyone knew, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr – May 18, 1988, history was made. The first-ever and largest water park of Pakistan was open to public.
22,000 people showed up on the first day and since then Sozo Water Park has welcomed millions of visitors for fun-filled and thrilling adventures.
Located on the main canal road near Jallo, Sozo Water Park covers a total area of 25 acres and is home to some of the most action-packed, adrenaline-pumping and exhilarating water slides and dry rides.
Sozo is the Greek word for ‘Salvation’. Sozo Water Park is salvation from the intense summer heat of Lahore for all those who are looking to treat themselves to extreme fun, refueling and excitement.
