Melissa Michele Montgomery is a quality-controlled country pop music who was born November 14th, 1985, in Moore, OK. She is a singer come songwriter come actor. Her music features a mix of country melodies and pop vocals. Melissa began singing at the age of 9. At 15 years of age, she began writing, recording, and performing around Oklahoma and other states. At the age of 18, she relocated to Nashville to pursue her singing career.

In 2004 Melissa appeared on Star Search. During her appearance Naomi Judd was impressed, saying Montgomery had ‘commercial appeal.’ In 2014 she signed with M. Republik Music Group and subsequently released three albums (Break up diaries, Melville, and Awakening). Melissa has been repeatedly featured on iHeartRadio. She has opened for headlining acts such as Steve Holy and Clay Davison. Shortly after, Melissa began recording radio and television commercial jingles with such companies as Chevrolet, Bank First, and Channel 43 in Oklahoma City all written by Ryan Bellgardt, who in return produced several of her first originals.

Today, Melissa has produced and directed four music videos and has appeared in multiple commercials including Toyota. In addition, she has won numerous awards including the Horizon Award at the Oklahoma Opry where she recorded her first song ‘Someday’, the Colgate Country Showdown state winner, CFAB music realm’s artist of the week, and was voted the OCMA (Oklahoma Country Music Association) female vocalist and entertainer of the year.
