Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club (or “HFAC”) is a Wellness Community, deeply committed to supporting each member on their unique journey of health. Owned and managed by a local family business with more than 60 years and four generations of history in Oregon, HFAC has both a long-term history and a long-term vision that prioritize relationship and culture first.
As an established independent Club, HFAC has the flexibility to adapt and innovate. In the 2020 Pandemic, adding a robust Online Workout Library, Live-streamed Workouts, Virtual Fitness Training, and online communication has kept Members connected, active and feeling the love. These new resources are here to stay as an integrated part of the member experience. Whether in the Club or at home, HFAC Membership provides next-level wellness support reflective of a modern lifestyle.
Of course, HFAC’s luxurious and award-winning gym facility is also a deeply valued part of HFAC Members’ lives. Filled with natural light and abundant amenities, there is something for everyone. Plus, it just keeps getting better and better! After a year of research and community input, HFAC is proud to re-open the building with remodeled fitness areas and the latest in new equipment.
What really makes HFAC special is the people. Visit and you might be greeted by Jordan, who grew up visiting Kid Central and learned to swim in HFAC’s pool. Call and you might talk to Andres, who started his first job here and grew into a manager over the years. Reading online reviews or talking to longtime Hillsboro residents, you might hear about HFAC’s 20+ year history. The owners originally built and founded HFAC in 2000 as part of a multi-location development project. When that thriving organization grew larger than fit their family culture, all the Clubs were sold in 2012. In 2015, the original owners returned to Hawthorn Farm and proudly re-envisioned HFAC as the Independent Club it is today!
