My Name is Billyne Dowdy and I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 1987. Being a nail artist is a creative outlet for me and I enjoy meeting new people. Throughout my career, God has blessed me to have my work featured in Nails Magazine, Nailpro Magazine, Airbrush Magazine, Airbrush Action Magazine and the cover of Beauty Artist Magazine. I have worked as an educator for Elizabeth Anthony Airbrush Systems, Ezflow Nail Systems and Young Nails, Inc. I am currently a member of the Odyssey Nail Systems U.S. Competition team. We have been number one in the United States since 2006. And I have ranked as high as 12th place in the nation while competing in the Nailpro Cup Competitions. I have won three 2nd place, and one 3rd place trophy in the past 2 years competing against some of the best nail artists in the world.
I also have certifications in Eyelash Extensions with Novalash, Evalash, and in the Ru-Vol (the russian volume technique of eyelash extensions) with the world renowned eyelash artist Nadia Afanaseva.

What are Powder Brows?
Ombre and Powder Brows are a type of permanent make-up, inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin with a tattoo machine. It creates fullness and design to the eyebrows. This technique differs from 3-d Microblading in that a misty, powder filled brow is created similar to the look of make-up as opposed to simulated hair. The tails of the brows are darker, and fade into a light start to the brow..giving that perfect ombre makeup effect! They will be waterproof, smudge proof and completely realistic. It lasts longer than Microblading- typically around 2 years on average, depending on the client’s skin type, lifestyle and various other factors. Over time the pigment will fade leaving the skin and your natural eyebrows behind.
What is Microblading?
It is a semi-permanent makeup method; the technique is natural feathering of hair like strokes directly on the skin’s surface that creates natural looking eyebrows. 3D Eyebrow Microblading creates the background and fills in the areas of the eyebrows that look empty so that a full and complete look is accomplished. the “3D” effect adds realism to the end result. Unlike a traditional eyebrow tattoo, 3D Eyebrow Microblading does not have a flat, dull and fake look that tattoos leave behind and is a MUCH SAFER treatment. The 3D Eyebrow Microblading method can fill in sparse brows or create an entire brow, which makes it the perfect procedure for men and women.
