If you’re an English speaker in France looking to make some extra money during the upcoming Easter holidays, or during the longer summer vacation, consider becoming a host family for Daily English.
Here French children, aged 8-18, are paired with English families during school holidays to learn English through the immersion method. The schedule involves a lesson of up to two hours every morning during the homestay from the qualified English teacher of the family, followed by fun and immersive activities in the afternoons with the rest of the household.
Becoming a host family is a highly rewarding job that will allow you to spend time with your own children whilst teaching English to French children in your own home. It is also a great opportunity for your own children to make new friends.
Each host family can host up to four children at any one time and Daily English will provide the support and teaching materials required, along with lesson plans and help with organising activities and excursions. They also guarantee that 24-hour assistance will be provided during the duration of the homestays.
As a host family, you can work up to 23 weeks per year.
