It is therefore crucial that on entering a class, you handle each task (however dull and uninteresting it may be) enthusiastically and passionately.

 

2.         Try and memorize the names of the students under your charge

 

Though this may seem like a huge task (especially if you are handling class or several classes), memorizing the names of your students can help make your work as a TA easier. Addressing each learner by name will help establish a personal connection with the student. One of the hardest tasks on entering a class is usually to capture the attention of students but if you show that you care enough to learn their names, the learners will likely be more receptive.
