No user can access the web interface of the Dlink router without typing in the correct credentials on the Dlink router login window. Users are advised to change the default password as not doing it makes your network and web interface vulnerable to other users. The default login name and password of the login window are “admin” and “password” respectively. You can enable the password recovery feature through the dlinkrouter.local web management window to prevent the reset process in your router when you forget the login password.
