In 1955 Jack opened Jack Baker Tyres, your local tyre & mechanical shop, family owned and operated. Jack Baker handed the business down to his son Roger Baker in the mid-80s. In 1998 Roger decided to make Terry McCade a new addition as a business partner, and 2 years later McCade’s son (Troy McCade) joined the business also.
In 2001 Roger retired and sold the business to Terry. In 2003 Jack Baker Tyres joined the successful Tyre Retail independent group Tyrepower. After 13 years of growing the family business, Terry and his wife Sharon retired and sold the business to their son Troy McCade.
Troy had been learning the family trade for the last 11 years and was ready to work on growing the family business further. In 2013 Troy registered the business name: ‘No Limits’ Offroad.’ The business expanded its range of products, from mechanical and suspension gear to accessories and electrical products.
The business saw a big change in 2016 with the building of a new showroom and with the addition of 2 dedicated show/off-road display vehicles to the business.
In 2017 the FITMY4WD brand became a great addition to the McCade Group of Companies. Fit My 4WD is a dedicated company and website designed at streamlining the sales of accessories to our customers.
Where we can, we have supported local manufacturing to encourage the production of quality materials and workmanship, and to support local employment.
