Machine Readable Passport (MRP)

  • Now you can apply online (http://onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk) for Renewal of your Machine Readable Passport, if your Machine Readable Passport has expired OR its' validity is less than 7 months.
  • Those applying for the following categories have to come in person at the MRP facilitation center at the Pakistan High Commission Canberra.
  1. New MRP
  2. Lost Passport.
  3. Modification of Passport (Changes in particulars i.e Name, Date of birth etc).
  4. Damaged Passports
  5. Renewal of Official & Diplomatic Passport.

In case an applicant is asked by the system for an interview; he will then be requested to visit the facilitation center at the High Commission Canberra.

Driving License:

In case of Pakistani Driving License, they should first be verified from the license issuing authorities in Pakistan by obtaining a NOC / Verification letter from them and thereafter have them attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad or its Camp Offices at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar & Quetta and thereafter sent to High Commission or Consulate General for attestation in original.

  • All the New South Wales residents are strongly advised to apply at Consulate General of Pakistan Sydney only for their driving lisecence verification.
  • In addition attested photocopies of the Pakistani driving license, passport, CNIC / NICOP & requisite attestation fee should also be sent.
  • Duly filled in application submitted by the applicant personally or through register/courier mail.
  • Applicants desiring to have letter of authenticity of the license or requesting confirmation of name as appearing in license etc must also fill the statuary declaration signed by Notary Public or J.P. and submit the same to the High Commission or Consulate in original. This declaration would be enclosed in the letter addressed to the relevant RTA.
  • You have to attach a self addressed return envelope if you are sending documents by post.

Fee:      AU$ 20.00

Processing time is 5 working days if all the required documents are satisfactory and genuine.

Visa :

General Requirements for All Visa Types:

  1. Duly filled in Visa Form.
  2. Original passport along with photocopy of passport (of first four pages). Passport should be valid for minimum period of six months.
  3. Two recent passport size coloured photographs (with white background)
  4. Reference letter from your present employer. If self-employed, any document proving your status as such.
  5. Letter of invitation from Pakistan with telephone number & address of sponsor in Pakistan along with the front and back of his Pakistani CNIC copy.
  6. Personal Bank Statement for the last six months, duly signed & stamped by the Bank.
  7. Travel itinerary.
  8. Addresses both in Pakistan and Australia should be provided.
  9. For minors, both parent's consent duly attested by J.P is required for processing visa for children. Certified copy of child's birth certificate must be provided also.
  10. Persons traveling on Diplomatic / Official passports are required to attach Note Verbal from DFAT.
  11. Any other document(s) that can be helpful in processing of the visa application.

Visitor / Tourist Visa:

  • Please read visa requirements for all visa types.
  • Copy of return air ticket.
  • Your Itinerary
  • If the Visa Officer will be satisfied about the purpose of the visit, then appropriate visa will be issued to a visitor or a tourist holding an Australian Passport.

LAUNCH OF NADRA ONLINE REGISTRATION SERVICE

In order to facilitate Pakistani diaspora around the world, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Government of Pakistan has launched an online NADRA ID Card Applications website. Its name is Pak Identity, it lets users quickly apply online in simple steps from the comfort of home or office. Once the card is ready, it is shipped in seven working days and delivered to applicant's door step.  It is designed to make the application process simpler and clearer. Pak Identity is the front door to NADRA's online services for Pakistani citizens around the world. It can be used to:-

 

Requirements for Birth Registration:

  • Registration is done for children under the age of 1 year only. 
    • Application Form (Form S) duly completed and signed by Father/Mother.
    • Attested copy of Child's Birth Certificate ( by Justice of Peace).
    • Attested copy of Pakistani Passport and National Identity Card of Child's father (by by Justice of Peace) .
    • Attested copy of Pakistani Passport and National Identity Card of Child's mother (by Justice of Peace).
    • Three photographs of the child - Child's name written on the back.
    • Marriage Certificate/ Nikah nama of the parents or its attested copy by JP.
    • Letter of Consent from Parent (if one of them is a foreigner).
    • Self-addressed Express Post or Registered Post Envelop for dispatch of Birth Registration Certificate
